Yes. Our minimum cut is a quarter yard, and we sell by the eighth or third of a yard. We have precuts available, but we do not cut fat quarters off the bolt. Faux fur is a one-yard minimum purchase.
We are only closed on Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. On Memorial day, Independence Day, and New Year’s Day, and Labor Day, we’re open from 10 AM to 4 PM.
We allow samples of our home décor fabrics only. We ask that your samples are about the size of a credit card. If that isn’t large enough to give you a sense of the fabric, you may purchase a quarter of a yard. For apparel and quilting fabrics, we do not allow samples, but you may purchase as little as a quarter yard. Remember to bring samples with you on the return trip! It will make shopping much easier for you, as the product may have moved since you saw it last.
You do not. At SR Harris Fabric, our regular-priced fabrics are always 50% off. Keep in mind that this does not apply to notions, trims, leather, accessories, or fabrics that are already discounted, like our featured items.
No, we do not sell sewing machines, sewing machine parts, yarn or carpet. We do, however, carry sewing machine needles.
We do not make online sales. Please come in to browse our huge selection!
Our fabric comes from many sources including directly from fabric and garment manufacturers and importers. The majority of our fabric is deadstock or close-out, so our inventory is always changing.
It depends on which fabric you’ve selected. On some materials we make consistent reorders, while others might have been a special deal or an end-of-run. It’s worthwhile to ask – we may have a duplicate in overstock.
